Back To School Planner

Seeing as this year, I have a lot of big assessments and exams at school (FUN) I thought it was time I get my act together and purchase a planner! So for the third part of my 2016 Back To School series, I am going to through my planner and how (badly) I organise it.

So this is my planner, I think I mentioned a couple of weeks ago in my favourites posts. I picked this one up from Typo, and it's just the basic buffalo  weekly planner. It in in the marble texture and has 2016 on the front in rose gold. I am absolutely in love with it, I think if you're glinting to get a planner, it definitely has to be one that fits your aesthetic so you're motivated to use it more.

When you open it up, it shows this little illustration, which is very vintage and gives you room to put you name on. I just thought it was a little nice touch and adds to the look of it.

It then gives you a page to put all your personal information, which I haven't got a picture for since I've put things like my phone number and address.

The next two pages is a grid calendar which I use to put my school term dates and birthdays on.

Over the page it gives a reference calendar which just has last year's this year's and next year's dates on it.

It also has a couple of pages of public holidays and school term dates all over the world and I've just highlighted New Zealand.

It has a contacts list which I haven't actually had the time to fill in yet but I will at some point.

Over the page it has a section of your birthstones, wedding anniversary symbols, astrology and Chinese zodiac which I thought was interesting seeing as it's not something you usually see in planners these days.

Okay now into the actual planning part. So it first gives you a monthly calendar which is where I put the shifts I'm working, when I'm getting paid, how much I should be getting paid, school assessments or projects that are due and when I'm supposed to be uploading a new post on here along with what the post is going to be about.

It also has a colum on the right hand side where I have little monthly goals, more stuff about my blog and friends birthdays.

After the monthly calendar it has it in a weekly form where I go more into depth about school projects, blog posts, what I need to buy and my goals. As you can see there is quite a bit of room to put ideas down.

So that was my planner! I think the planner I have is perfect for me because I can have a brief criteria of what I want to achieve and then a more in depth section for me to jot my ideas down! I know some people don't find it interesting but personally for me, I think it's fascinating so I hop someone does to, or at the very least, gives you ideas about what you want!  Tell me down in the comment about your ideal planner or what you put in yours.

Until next time,

Hiraeth
