THE EMERGENCY KIT-CONCERT EDITION // hiraerth
Hello everyone, it's ya homie Hiraeth and I am coming to the internet with another survival post. And this time, its a a concert survival guide!
Concerts are great man, the music, the people, the vibes. Those are all cool and contribute to having the time of your life. However they can quickly turn sour if you're not prepared. This is why I have created a list of things that you should take to any concert. So if any of you guys are going to a concert this is the post just for you!
Okay, so first up, you'll need a bag to put all this stuff in. I usually take a small-ish backpack with me rather than a purse so that I can forget about it instead of worrying about a purse dangling from my shoulder and getting easily lost. I'd also try to get a kind of small one, since you don't want a colossal bag weighing you down when you're having a good time.
Now for the good stuff, what you're gonna put in the bag!
MONEY- It's always a good idea to take a bit of cash, to buy snacks or drinks, or emergencies that could pop up. If you wanna support the artist you can also but any merch they selling at the venue.
PHONE- Okay this is a given, we take our phones wherever we go but you need to make sure you do have in case of emergencies and for photos. Make sure it's on full charge as well. If you're like me and don't usually have a case on your phone but make sure you have a very protective one at the concert, so if you drop it, it'll be as less damaged as possible. Also bring a portable charger as well so your phone doesn't die halfway through the concert.
WATER BOTTLE- There is nothing worse than getting dehydrated at concert (especially outside) , always take a water bottle with you. Some venues don't let you bring in water so take a empty bottle and fill it up when you get inside.
SUNGLASSES- These are just a nice thing to bring especially if the concert is outside. Just don't take your expensive ones, cause if you lose them, you probably ain't getting them back.
SHARPIE// NOTEPAD- Even if you haven't signed up for a meet-and-greet or other VIP pass, it's good to keep these just in case you do meet the artist.
HEADPHONES- Obviously you don't wanna wear these in the venue, duh but if you're like me and live in a small town far away from the concert venue, these are good to take on the long drive there.
GUM- If you do meet the artists, you don't wanna kill them will bad breath, so take a little gum. Just be careful if you're chewing during the set, cause I've choked a couple of times from jumping around ahahahaha.
FACE WIPES- After concerts you can feel pretty gross, so face wipes are good if you wanna feel cool and to take off any make-up and sweat.
DEODORANT- Bring a little roll-on deodorant to put on before and after the show, cause again, you're gonna feel real gross afterwards.
HAND SANITIZER- Concerts can get pretty nasty and is just a breeding ground for bacteria so remember to take this.
MEDICAL KIT- Don't forget any kind of prescribed medication that you need. I also take a few pain-killers just in case if I get a headache. I also take a few band-aids so if I fall over (which I do a lot) I won't bleed to death. YAY!
So guys that was my concert survival kit, I hope you enjoyed it and got a few ideas for them! I know sounds like a lot but it's all small stuff and will fit into any small backpack basically. I just came from a Twenty One Pilots concert and I took all these things with me. Anyway homies, I'll catch you in my next post!
Until next time,
Hiraeth
